edited October 15 in Multy WiFi System

Hello,

at home I have a system of 1 primary Multy and 4 Satellites. Usually every week I have to restart 2-3 of them because they turned red and stopped working. This is not how I expected the product to be. Can anyone help here?

Products probably out of warranty. Purchase date 2 years ago now.

Thank you!

    Hi @TimRo21

It seems like you are over the maximum number of satellites (1 primary Multy with 2 Satellites). We recommend that you create two sites (1 primary Multy with 2 Satellites and another 1 primary Multy with 1 Satellite) to use.

I read somewhere that the Multy M1 can support for maximum 4 satellites.

Actually, I have one primary and three satellites and they work well.

Thank you very much for your answer. How would you implement this in a house with 3 floors?

The only Primary is sitting at the Router and spreads the connection to all the satellites.

Would it help to put a Ethernet Cable up to the highest floor to create another Primary one?

Do I have to create 2 different networks then so I can use 2 Primarys? So basically 2 AP's and then connect 2 and 1 satellites to them?

    Thank you for your help!

So I tried it with just 2 satellites connected and the problem still occurred. Anything else I can try?
