[NWA130BE] Since 7.20, iPhone 16 toggles between WiFi and Celluar

    The reverse test has shown that the same problems as those described at the beginning have occurred again.

    What does Zyxel have to say about this?

    Hi,

    I have two iPhone (13 and 16) and an NWA130BE with latest firmware.

    Sometimes I have a connection drop, one or two per day but the iPhone then reconnect alone successfully.

    I've enabled all the three bandwitdh togheter with preferred configuration.

    Hi @matradix

    I just got the latest date code firmware that enhances connectivity compatibility with iOS. Please find the download link in the private message I sent.

    Additionally, the issue we found during the investigation is that the iPhone disconnects from and reconnects to the WiFi network. The disconnection is not initiated by the AP side.

    Hi @matradix, @Zyxel_Melen,
    sometimes I see my iPhone that switch on wifi and then switch off, then switch on, then switch off every seconds.
    The connect was completed, the phone receive the IP but then immediately drops the wifi connection.

    The only way that I've found to stop this behaviour is to reboot the phone; then the iPhone connect successfully permanently.

    So the problem, I think, is not the wifi but problem is the phone.

    We are elaborating over this issue since a year now. I advice reading the previous pages before make such a (simple) statement.

    This is issue isn't even limited to iPhones. It's a Wifi 7 / 6G band issue

    Hi @Flachzange,
    and, if is a wifi 7/6G band issue, why the problem it's presented only one day on 2-3 months, and also only in one "occasion"… for all the time in a day works perfectly, then I exit from my house, and when return the iPhone do this.. only in one occasion, only one day randomly in a 2-3 months without any reboot of the Wifi in the day.

    ...because it heavily depends on the individual situation and condtions the client device has agreed with the access point. I had days when it happend every half hour and every time I moved between locations in my house. This has improved but the issue is still there but no so frequently anymore. And the issue is not related to iphones, it is probably the widest distributed Wifi 7 device.
