Thank god I didn't update the firmware until now. The original R13A02 works perfectly. I'm still following this thread and then I'll decide if I'll update, but Zyxel messed something up with it...

Do not use automatic band selection. I have the same problem: my device automatically selects bands with the highest signal strength, but they usually have the lowest speed. Instead, find the fastest bands and select them manually.

I updated to the latest version. The speed improved by about 20-30%, so far I'm satisfied. After the update, I installed fw 0, then updated to fw10 and hard restarted, updated without interfering with the device or cheating with the SIM card slot. I simply restarted it when the card was not active, I performed the entire procedure, waited 15 minutes and refreshed it to check if the update was successful. then I did a restart

aha, from what I see what you write that it is not possible to block the 5g band, I don't agree with that. I have had this router for 5 months and there are 2 5g bands in my area. I can block on any band I want. just go to nr5gsa, enter the data of the 5g mast you want to use, then switch to auto or nsa, the modem will only select the band you have set
