FWA710 and third-party POE+ switch

I have a FWA710 (modem in PIC) and two NWA55AXE (Gjestehus and Persbugang in PIC). I recently added a POE+ switch after the FWA710 and it shows up with MAC adsress in topology. My problem is that the Cerbo GX does not receive an IP address when connected to the Switch via Ethernet cable. It connects only via Wireless. I have tried connecting the Cerbo with Ethernet cable directly to the FWA710 and that works fine. I have set up the FWA710 with Cellular IP Passthrough - Disabled. What can I do to restore a cabled connection to my Cerbo GX - via the switch?

The switch might be the problem it could be that this Cerbo GX thing I know nothing about only links at 10Mb and your switch does not support it

I have tried another switch (managed), and it has the same problem. I believe there is something I have missed in the settings. The Cerbo GX does not receive an IP address via the switch. Any other suggestions?

It´s now open for support to check.

Hi @ChrisLau
Thanks for the privilege. Since the issue doesn't exist in the current topology, could you help reconnect the switch before you go to sleep? We will check this issue at night.

The switch currently in use is not managed and does not show up in topology, but there is a strange "double" connection from Router to AP. Anyway, still same issue with "Cerbo GX" not receiving IP-address from wired connection (the Cerbo GX states "receiving IP-address….."), it will only connect via wireless. I have probably missed something in settings. Can it be DHCP server settings?

I wonder if this Cerbo GX is asking in the DHCP for NTP for a time server?

Does that match the fact that when connected directly to the FWA710 router the Cerbo GX receives IP-address correctly?

So maybe my first guess was right? if you have another switch link that in-between try a 10/100Mb switch

I have now checked the switch documentation and it supports 10/100/1000. According to the Cerbo GX manual it supports 10/100. So that should be ok. I wonder if @Zyxel_Melen has found anything in my settings…
